Tech Fridays Un-Conference
GITIC organised the monthly Tech Fridays Un-Conference, in Panjim. The highlight of the evening was a demonstration given by Mr. R. L. Chari of his invention that can measure angles in multi dimensional planes and his experiences on acquiring a patent for it. Also on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2013, Genora Infotech launched their app Shout Out on the Google Play store at the hands of Mr. Manguirish Pai Raiker of GCCI. The app helps anyone in distress to get assistance by the push of a button, sending an emergency message to five chosen contacts and make a phone call to a pre-defined number, all at once.
Tech Fridays is an informal gathering of mentors, angel investors and potential and existing entrepreneurs, organised by GITIC and held once a month.
