POSITION: CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

POSITION FUNCTION:
Webware.io offers an online SaaS platform for Do-It-Yourself website and ecommerce development, as well as website development and marketing services. We receive queries from DIY customers as well as full-service customers, ranging from simple questions on using our platform, to requests for changes and additions to their Webware websites. Our customers are small-to-medium sized business owners based primarily in Canada and the United States, and queries will come via email, chat, or phone.
The Customer Services Rep will be the first responder to all Webware customer queries and requests. You will reply by email or online chat to queries, helping to explain to Webware users how to use our platform, answering billing-related questions, and assigning questions to other Webware employees as relevant. You will need to become an expert on using our platform (you’ll have the opportunity to learn on the job) and you must have excellent written English communication skills.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Serve as the front line for all customer email queries, responding appropriately and politely to customers
· Record all communication in Webware’s internal CRM system
· Be well versed with the Webware platform
· Represent Webware in a positive and professional manner
SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Strong communication skills, both verbally and by email
· Good written and spoken English, at Western levels of proficiency
· Professional demeanour, calm and patient
· Ability to work well in a group setting and as an individual
· Ability to perform and deal with stressful situations
REPORTING TO: Customer Support Manager
EXPERIENCE:
· 1-2 years’ work experience as a Customer Service representative, preferably with North American or European clients.
· Preferably work experience in a software or technology company.
