Overview

The Inside Sales manager will be responsible for new business for the company and carry monthly targets in the international and/or domestic markets. The primary responsibility will be to contact prospective clients over the phone, understand their requirements, and close the sale. Leads are generated via the marketing channel, but cold outreach might become necessary to meet gaps (expect a 80-20 inbound- outbound experience). The price point and product quality & stability is above par in the market, usually decreasing the barriers to sale greatly.

How a normal day would look like:

1. The first you will usually do is check on your follow ups for the day- these would be on the CRM already. You would call them up, set up demos for the day, or update the leads for further follow up.

2. Research on fresh leads which would have accumulated on the system. Do a reach-out, set up demos or follow-ups.

3. Once your follow ups, demos, and fresh leads are exhausted, you would do some amount of fresh reach-out in the market. Databases are usually available and/or research based.

Expectations:

1. Handling 12-15 fresh leads a day- both International and domestic.

2. Do 4-5 demos a day.

3. Average of 1 closure a day

We are a 20 member startup. We are setting this team up from scratch- so there is huge room to grow. If you perform well, the Inside Sales Lead position is open, eventually. Set your own process & pace, and help the company grow. There is limitless opportunity to enter into field sales, or operations, or marketing, whichever catches your fancy eventually.
