Job Role: Product Diagnostics Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated diagnostic engineer with experience and curiosity in electronics hardware and software to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to our company’s hardware and software products. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to diagnose and resolve issues, utilizing your engineering skills.

What will you be doing?

• Providing support to customers via phone, email, or chat, and assisting them in identifying and resolving technical issues related to Spintly hardware and software products.
• Utilizing Spintly’s diagnostics tools (used to troubleshoot issues) to analyse and solve issues.
•  In the process of solving issues, you are expected to develop and maintain technical documentation for hardware and software products, including manuals, guides, and FAQs.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product design engineers and software engineers, to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Acquiring in-depth knowledge of products to gain an understanding of how the issues need to be resolved.
• Running Python scripts and other automation tools to streamline the debugging and testing process.
• Continuously update and maintain knowledge of the latest hardware and software technologies and trends.

What qualifications & skills should you have?

• Diploma / B.E or equivalent in / Electronics / Electronics & Communication /Computer science.
• Strong interest and knowledge of electronics hardware, wiring, and basic concepts.
• Basic knowledge of scripting languages like python or similar. You might have experience using it in your previous work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and identify innovative solutions.

Helpful if you have previous experience:

• Writing scripts languages like Python
• Worked on software automations
• Were on the post solving issues which are related to cloud-based software
• Helping product team with improvements by giving feedback
• Has worked on hardware products
