Content Assistant

Overview

Job brief:

Content Assistant is expected to be a highly organized and resourceful assistant to support the Content Creation and develop effective, efficient and scalable processes and systems for the department. He/She would be in charge of supporting the creation and execution of all courses and classes taught in our online platform; handling pre-and-post production processes. This includes, but not limited to overseeing the development of student manuals, teachers’ guidelines, content for social media, supporting the Content Creation Department in daily tasks, among others.

This candidate is expected to be a central player to the project, interfacing closely with the Content Director, programming team, marketing team and yoga teachers to drive enrollments thereby meeting organizational goals through effective management.

We are looking for a smart candidate with excellent communication skills in order to interact with targeted Yoga personnel and handle the onboarding process for the Yoga Teachers. Candidates are expected to have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works. He/She is responsible for joining relevant conversations on behalf of the brand and “soft selling” our online programs/courses/classes by providing support to current and prospective customers. Soft-selling methods would include Email marketing via Newsletters and having fair knowledge of Lead magnets and funnel processes is must.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the schedule of shooting videos for the online platform.
Communicate and coordinate with teachers responsible for shooting for the online platform.
Coordinate the content for the various online products.
Liaise with the teachers to build the content of the classes/courses/workshops (format- videos, mp3 etc, how many, how long).
Scheduling the shooting, assisting in production, direction and post-production of the same: supervising the deadlines for the shooting, participating in the edition of the final outcome (texts, appropriate music -when/if needed-, logo, right “cuttings”/spelling/use of terms, etc.)
Act as a point of contact between teachers and the Content Director.
Coordinating with the post-production team to ensure the best output.
Overseeing the development of the course materials in the form of manuals, PDFs, charts, study guides and other resources.
Coordinating the content needed by the social media and digital marketing teams.
Create/coordinate blogs and social media posts when/if needed.
Proofreading and editing content when/if needed.
Handle communication with students of YTTCs.
Handle Zoom (creation of links and schedule of live sessions)
Coordinate with YTTC’s teachers to create timetables
Creation of new courses in our online platform
Any other daily admin task required by the Content Director (i.e., look for pictures, create sales pages in the online platform, register courses with Yoga Alliances, etc.)

Requirements

Proven 5 years of experience in the corporate working environment.
Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills
Demonstrable social networking experience
Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations is preferable.

Position:

Full-time, in-house and contractual position
Schedule: Mon-Fri 9am-6pm | Sat 9am-2pm
Long-term position with 3months of Probation Period.
