Android Developer
We’re looking for an Android developer to help design, develop, improve and support the Photojaanic Android app. If you’re passionate about helping people bring their best photos and moments into their lives, please read on.
Your primary responsibilities would be to help improve our mobile app’s features based on user feedback. You’ll also have a big role in helping our team iterate faster by making improvements in our deployment process.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to technical requirements and specifications
- Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
- Use our backend API’s to write secure, high performance, and reliable cost
- Write unit tests
- Work closely with our Testing Team to write automated tests wherever required
- Manage app deployments
- Monitor error logs and app performance etc and ensure our app is stable and functioning well
- Contribute to improving our deployment process
Qualifications:
- B.E / Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
- 2+ years of development experience
- Strong knowledge of Java, Android SDK and handling different Android devices
- Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns and best practices
- Experience with offline storage, performance tuning, security, and RESTful API’s
- Knowledge of Android imaging libraries (Glide, Picasso etc) a big plus
- Experience with code versioning, ex. Git
- Familiarity with continuous integration a plus
