Overview
Scrum Master (Agile)
We’re looking for a Scrum master to enable the effective functioning of a software development team using agile methodology, organise and facilitate release planning.You’ll be focusing on daily scrum meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint planning and other scrum-related activities.
Responsibilities :
- Facilitating daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings.
- Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress
- Forecast the numbers of deliverables possible in an iteration, which is based on evidence and reliable source.
- Communicate and manage key issues and risks
- Improve the efficiency of the development team.
- Train other team members on Scrum
- Work with product owners to drive backlog clarity
- Work with the team to keep release commitments on track
- Works with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams.
Qualifications:
- Min. 3+ years of work experience as a scrum master and must have been a software engineering candidate
- Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.
- Expert knowledge about Agile techniques like: User Stories, Continuous
- Integration,Continuous Delivery, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing,
- Experience in using JIRA & Jira tools and customizing it based on the team needs, Admin level experience
- Experience in organizing Scrum Ceremonies ( Sprint Planning, Sprint retro, Backlog refinement, Scrum, SoS)
- Good understanding and experience in Story Point estimation and the value it brings to the team.
- Experience with generating sprint/release level reports (Burn-down/ Burn-up charts
- Ability to handle 2-3 Scrum teams
- Passionate towards driving process improvements and delivering better quality products
- Experience in working with Cloud based/SaaS applications
- Scrum Master Certification a plus
