Photojaanic’s purpose is to help enrich our customer’s lives through customized and personalized products. We are a part of New Vision, and have been building and operating digital imaging businesses for over 15 years.
We are a “full-stack” business. We produce our own products, market them, and manufacture them ourselves. This lets us maintain higher quality standards, faster product agility, and lower costs. Our head offices are in Goa and Singapore, but many of our team members work remotely. We base decisions on data and what’s right for the customer.

PHP Developer
We are looking for a PHP developer with a strong interest in building scalable systems in the cloud and developing Saas plugins (such as Drupal, WordPress, Shopify) to join our team. We are building a Software-as-a-Saas (Saas) product, and you’ll be a key member of this effort. You’ll also work on our e-commerce store, and build scalable, high reliability, low cost backend systems.
Responsibilities:
- Understand business and technical requirements
- Design and develop detailed software technical design following best practices
- Design and develop cloud-based (AWS, Azure, etc) system design architecture
- Design and develop API’s
- Develop software designs that are composable, secure, highly reliable and scalable.
- Collaborate with QA on test cases
- Write modular, testable and well documented code
- Maintain SLA’s and ensure our systems are operating to specification.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years experience of PHP development experience
- Strong PHP and MySQL experience
- Strong knowledge of AWS
- Experience building RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of nodejs is a plus
- Quick learner mindset and self-initiative
