Overview
We’re looking for a skilled LED Wall Operator to join our events team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with LED screens and AV technology, ensuring high-quality visual displays that captivate audiences at events. The LED Wall Operator needs to work closely with the technical and production teams to ensure seamless operation and coordination for a variety of live events.
Responsibilities:
Set up, configure, and operate LED walls, video processors, and related AV equipment.
Collaborate with event planners and technical crew to understand event requirements and execute planned visuals.
Troubleshoot technical issues with LED screens and video equipment during live events.
Ensure video content is properly displayed, adjusting settings for optimal quality and resolution.
Manage content transitions, timing, and screen management to enhance audience engagement.
Perform routine maintenance checks on LED equipment to ensure functionality and avoid downtime.
Disassemble and pack equipment after events, ensuring all components are safely stored.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an LED Wall Operator or similar AV technician role in event production.
Proficiency in LED video wall technology, video processors, and media servers.
Strong understanding of video resolution, color calibration, and signal flow.
Ability to troubleshoot and stay calm under pressure.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per event schedules.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of software like Resolume.
Basic understanding of lighting and audio equipment integration.
Certification or formal training in AV technology or digital media.
