Overview
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Event Tech Helper to assist with the setup, operation, and teardown of technical equipment at events. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the events industry, eager to learn, and ready to work in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist in the setup and breakdown of event technology, including audio-visual equipment, lighting, and staging.
– Support technicians during events by handling cables, moving equipment, and ensuring smooth operations.
– Maintain and organize equipment before and after events.
– Perform basic troubleshooting under the guidance of senior technicians.
– Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
Requirements:
– Basic understanding of event technology (AV, lighting, etc.) is a plus but not mandatory.
– Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
– Strong team player with a positive attitude.
– Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
– Quick learner and adaptable in fast-paced environments.
