Overview
We are currently seeking a full-time, on-site Magento programmer to join our team of friendly nerds. You should be energetic, wildly talented, an upbeat individual with outstanding organizational skills and a strong desire to maintain our high standards of customer service.
The ideal candidate must exhibit the following mandatory qualifications:
Advanced experience developing with the Magento e-commerce platform
Advanced experience with LAMP
Experience with MySQL database design and administration
Experience with PHP / XML / SOAP / WDSL
Experience with a source code control system
Knowledge of current HTML / CSS / XHTML standards
Knowledge of JavaScript / AJAX technologies and methods
Detail oriented with excellent organization and time-management abilities
A four year degree in a related field is preferred, but experience and intelligence are a good substitute
Optional skills that are a plus:
Knowledge of current web trends and resources
Strong understanding of Design Patterns, UI/UX design
Ability to work in a fast paced, flexible project environment
Ability to work under pressure and to exacting standards and deadlines
Strong planning, organizational and problem solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent documentation skills
Experience working with Photoshop a plus
Knowledge of WordPress, Piwiki, Joomla or Drupal
