Overview
Responsibilities:
The Business Manager – Electronics Retail Stores at Jamsons will be an experienced business operations management professional with proven expertise in operations, developing & managing large teams, and excel in achieving business revenue targets.
The span of the control will be 5 in the designated geography and roll out of additional Stores
The Business Manager will work closely with the senior leadership team to evolve and execute sales & marketing plans for Jamsons
A. Operations
Ensure smooth business operations across stores under their purview. Should be able to work with a deep sense of fairness and maintain high standards of ethics in work
Responsible for ensuring appropriate material & inventory consumption & ensuring minimum unit wastage. Manage appropriate budgeting and revenue planning.
B. Marketing Goals
Work closely with the marketing function to help in planning, executing, and monitoring the relevant marketing & activation tools to achieve business objectives. Responsible for ensuring that the brand guidelines are followed properly at all locations.
C. Financial Goals
Drive and review initiatives to enhance revenues from services and memberships. Increase client and hotel engagement, and display focus in building best practices to develop sales focus across units through a customer-centric model. Use of innovative tools to increase revenue
D. Quality Assurance
Display a high level of business performance orientation to ensure quality service delivery to customers through strict implementation and monitoring of SOPs. Take initiatives towards audits and customer service recovery. Attention to detail as an attitude towards work.
E. People Management
Mentor teams and strengthen them to achieve their overall revenue and sales targets. Educate & disseminate information about various updates in internal organization, policies, and processes. Manage performance and development for the people in the function, ensure employee development and retention.
F. MIS & Reporting
Strict monitoring & analysis of daily, weekly, and monthly MIS. Continuous competition update & MIS population for analytics & targeted marketing efforts
Experience and desirables:
- Seasoned professional with minimum 4 years of experience in outlet operations
- A leader with high standards of compassion, empathy, and integrity
- Passionate about data & automation
- A Graduate / MBA from a reputed institution.
- Should possess excellent communication (internal & external) skills
- Experience across multi-store retail stores specially in Electronics
- Team management experience is mandatory
- Adept at MS excel and other daily working technology tools
