Overview
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Consultant / Engineer with 3–5 years of expertise to lead and deliver cybersecurity initiatives, strengthen defenses, and provide consultancy to clients/business units. This role requires a mix of technical proficiency, risk assessment skills, and client-facing experience.
Key Responsibilities
– Design, implement, and manage cybersecurity solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
– Conduct advanced vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and threat modeling.
– Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation planning.
– Provide cybersecurity consultancy to internal teams or clients on compliance (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI DSS, etc.).
– Develop and enforce security architecture standards, policies, and procedures.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security into projects and operations.
– Mentor junior consultants/engineers and share best practices.
Requirements
– Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related discipline.
– 3–5 years of proven experience in cybersecurity engineering, consulting, or equivalent.
– Strong expertise with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint security, DLP, and vulnerability management.
– Hands-on knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevSecOps practices.
– Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
– Relevant advanced certifications preferred (CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, CCSP).
– Strong client engagement, documentation, and communication skills.
