Role Overview
We are looking for a Market Research Analyst to support research and analysis for new business initiatives. The role involves data collection, basic analysis, and preparing insights to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct secondary research (industry reports, databases, online sources)
· Assist in primary research (surveys, interviews, questionnaires)
· Perform data collection, cleaning, and basic analysis using Excel
· Identify trends, patterns, and key insights from data
· Support market sizing, competitor analysis, and customer segmentation
· Assist in pricing analysis and demand assessment
· Contribute to basic financial analysis (cost structures, profitability estimates)
· Help prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards
· Support vendor research, benchmarking, and comparison
· Document meeting notes, trackers, and action items
· Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders
Requirements
· Basic understanding of market research methodologies and business analysis
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, basic charts)
· Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau) is a plus
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Good written and verbal communication
· Ability to structure information and create clear documentation
· Strong attention to detail and time management
· Willingness to learn and work across different domains
