We are looking for someone who can engage with the users, observe them in their environment to understand (not just ask) their pain points. To make the product simpler and better for them not just through better features but through better ways of doing things (processes). We value traits like intuition, logic, clear thinking, gut-feel, empathy, passion and good communication.
Experience Required:
You should have 2-4 years experience in user research, interviewing, observing, comprehending, problem solving, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, web design and usability testing. Coding experience a huge plus. The most important part of this role is to be able to understand complex problems, break them down into simple workflows in your head and communicate them simplistically – through aesthetic placement of words, icons, elements and feedback mechanisms weaved into delightful workflows.

Tools:
Tools that you might use to design would include mockflow, axure, photoshop, illustrator, fireworks, xmind. And would be great if you know HTML, CSS & Javascript.
