Content Writer cum Social Media Executive

Overview

Salary range: Rs.10,000 – Rs.14,000

You will be responsible for writing/managing SEO optimized blog content and creating engaging, creative social media posts. You will be working on our client projects on their websites, blogs and social media profiles.

The ideal candidate possesses a passion for writing and digital marketing. You will be responsible for generating and posting multiple blog posts per month, staying on top of deadlines, and creating engaging and on-brand social media content.

Responsibilities:-

Work closely with the client and internal team members (especially, the graphic designer for social media) to deliver content as per client requirements.

Content Writing:

– Create new content/blog posts to assist in internet marketing. The content brief will contain the target keyword, topic and related key phrases that need to be included in the article or website pages.

– Optimise content using SEO best practices in collaboration with the SEO Executive

Social Media:

– Plan, create and post engaging content on social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.

– Create the social media editorial calendar aimed at delivering content aligned with promoting products and services of our clients.

– Manage the social media profiles

– Track social media metrics and help create reports.

Overall:

– Stay up-to-date on the writing schedule

– Assist with paid advertising campaigns by writing ad copy.

– Collaborate with the team to produce and edit blog posts and social media content to be written and shared on social media as well as other platforms.

– Experience writing engaging short-form content for social media and longer-form content such as articles and marketing copy.

– A fundamental understanding of social media metrics and how to use data to make informed decisions.

Qualifications:-

– Bachelor’s degree in English/Mass Comm./Marketing/Advertising or any relevant course preferred

– Part-timers, freelancers and agencies (that can let an employee on hire) can also apply

– Freshers need not apply. Your resume needs to have at least 1 year of consistent social media and content writing experience.

– WordPress experience preferred

– Familiar with the strategic use of social platforms for brand awareness, reputation management and community engagement.

– Experience in Social Media Optimisation and Blog Writing

– Familiar with Social Media Paid Advertising

– Familiar with Facebook Business Manager

Soft Skills:-

– Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

– Industrious research skills and an aptitude to identify and resolve problems. Ability to learn new industries and new business types quickly and apply this knowledge to internet marketing initiatives.
