Project coordinator responsibilities

  1. Assisting and supporting the project manager.
  2. Designing and controlling the project schedule.
  3. Preparing presentations to update senior management on the project’s progress and showcase the project’s value.
  4. Delegating tasks to team members.
  5. Looking for ways to increase the project’s profitability and reduce expenses where possible.
  6. Ensuring deadlines are met.
  7. Organising and attending stakeholder meetings.
  8. Providing administrative support.
  9. Organising project team meetings and recording minutes.
  10. Liaising with clients to determine the project’s objectives.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or any relevant field
  2. 1+ years Proven experience in project coordination or project management roles
  3. Ability to work  responsibly and independently with minimal managerial supervision
  4. Demonstrated understanding of project management concepts and tools like JIRA, Asana, Google Suite, etc.
  5. Strong knowledge of written and digital project management tools
  6. Detail oriented and having an eye for design
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
