About Prototyze
Prototyze is an incubator, currently working on building mobile technology centered businesses in multiple sectors such as Financial Services, Transportation & Logistics, Fitness and Training & Learning. Two ventures catalyzed by it (Mobiefit and HandyTrain) have already been incorporated as independent companies with independent teams, investment and trajectory.
HandyTrain is a mobile platform for corporate training that slashes costs and time, especially for programs involving hundreds of people across scattered geographies. As one instance, HandyTrain was used to train 2,100 sales by Microsoft. With remarkable results (143% better test scores) and glowing client testimonials. We have a strategic investment in HandyTrain by Aptech, a listed global training company (7 million people trained across 28 years, 1,300 centres of learning across 40+ countries, 100,000 people being trained on any given day) to amplify our strengths. See details here.
The second venture MobieFit, with Gul Panag as the co-founder, already has its first product, FirstRun on the Android Playstore. Details here, here and here. The FirstRun site is here, and other social assets include the blog, Facebook and Twitter.
Prototyze is the product-centered, digital economy evolution of an entrepreneurial ecosystem established across years. It’s a significant initiative of an organization whose companies include ScreenRoot which focusses on human: screen interaction design (mobile apps, web applications, intranets…); Synapse which specializes in business communication, Visual JuJu that’s centered on multimedia, Starving Artist Films which makes films designed for online media. A non-product centric company is Junoon Ventures with brands such as Zaki, which focuses on custom art for individuals, corporate and architects, Gulnar Soaps, that formulates and markets natural hand-made soaps, and Shirkshop that focuses on open source furniture design.
Each of these is profitable and are led by home-grown entrepreneurial leadership. They have for over a decade worked on projects with global clients such as Microsoft, Sun Pharma, Pizza Hut, Hyatt Hotels, McKinsey, IBM, Airtel, Hewlett Packard, KFC, Kotak, Goldman Sachs and many others.
An unconventional ‘Annual Report’ is at PrivateUnlimited.com and a playful compendium of its life is on Facebook.
