We strive to connect entrepreneurs with talent, investors and co-founders.

The Startup Goa team comprises of Luke Sequeira and Aprup Shet, the brains behind the organization, Caslino, the man responsible for executing most of it and a few others from DCCPER.

Startup Goa isn’t really a non profit organization, although it doesn’t make money from startups or the entrepreneurs it promotes. Startup Goa only generates revenue through their coworking space, allowing people to work remotely.

You can get in touch with us and we can write articles promoting what you are doing. We can also talk about your programmes to encourage more people to join or check out your startup.

Startup Goa can help promote intercollegiate events, by writing about them or even raising funds for them if we believe they have potential.

Feel free to give us a call on 0 832 242 2246 and ask us what you are looking for, if we do have what you are looking for, we can definitely let you come in and work from our space.

This would actually depend on how long you intend to use the coworking space. If you intend to use it for more than a month, we might be able to charge you a reasonable price for it. Nothing required, we provide internet and a desk and chair, you will have to get your own computer to work on.

The usual price we charge our clients is 4000 rupees a month, that varies though, if the client is non Indian, then we charge 7500 rupees a month.

We have a pretty good memory when it comes to people that have worked from our space, especially if you have worked longer term. If we come across an opportunities in future, and you or your company fits the bill, we will definitely connect the two of you.

We usually function from ten to six but can be pretty flexible according to the requirements of the client. Again, this will depend on a per client or organization basis.

What kind of Startups have been coworking with Startup Goa?

Let’s just say that we cover tech events in the state, however, if there is something interesting happening around Goa as well, we would be more than happy to cover it. Furthermore, the blog covers interesting entrepreneurs in the startup scene in Goa, techy events, organizations that are interesting and haven’t received much recognition and everything in between.

To get your article up on the blog, send it over to luke@startupgoa.org and we will go through it at our end. We will write back to you if we need more information or telling you that we are considering adding this to the blog. After making sure everything is alright and according to our specifications, we will post it to the blog and send you an email tell you that it is up and a link to it.

At the moment there isn’t one, but we never know what the future holds.

Send an email to luke@startupgoa.org and mention all the information we could possibly require for a post. We will go through this information and get back to you. If you are tipping us off about an event you aren’t involved in, please send us the contact information of someone we can talk or write to to gather all the information we may require. We will coordinate and gather all the assets, create a post and email you to mention that it has been added to the blog.

If you are lucky, we will find you. Send an email to luke@startupgoa.org and we will get back to you when we are looking for volunteers.

Go to the website, jobs.startupgoa.org and click on the button, Post a Job, after that fill out the form. When you are done, it’s very important that you read it properly and make sure that everything is right. Finally, you can post your job.

There is a slot in the form where you mention your email ID, if people looking for that particular job decide to contact you, they will have to write to that email ID.

Your information will only be used by the people interested in contacting you for the job. The Startup Goa job board doesn’t have a spam filter, but we do delete spam from being posted to the board.

The Startup Goa job board doesn’t charge to post your job. Even when you are contacted by someone looking to be hired, we do not ask for a cut in it.

The job board doesn’t allow applicants to post their resumes, but you can contact someone trying to employ a candidate with your skill set and try to get yourself an interview.

FInd a job on the job board in the category you are looking for and get in touch with the person that put up the post. You can find jobs in any of twenty different job categories.

This isn’t that difficult, all you have to do is log on the maps site at, maps.startupgoa.org and click on the add a company button you see there. You will receive a form after you have done that, fill out the form and submit it. After you submit it, it will have to be approved at our end, where we will make sure all the information mentioned there is accurate and post it up shortly after. You should see your company or startup on the map in about a week.

Most of what Startup Goa does is free and yes, maps happens to be one of those things

Startup Goa organises a lot of meetups and most or rather all of these are for the tech people in and from Goa. Startup Goa has

It would actually be appreciated if you were from a technology field, most others find the meetups pretty boring otherwise, however, if you are interesting in improving your contact list then I guess it would work.

To join the meetup just log on to meetup.com and sign up for one of our meetups and we will be happy to have you there.

They are usually held once a month, if you sign up on meetup.com and join one of our groups, you will receive an email at about the time when we are having our next meetup.

Its not like we have a fixed meetup location in Goa, we try to mix it up and have meetups all over the place. People attending the meetups will notice that we favour between our office, The Next big thing office, and Maracas in Porvorim.

There isn’t a fee to attend meetups but paying for what you have consumed at a restaurant would be appreciated.

Usually most of the people you would meet at a meetup would be from a tech background, working in the IT field, engineers or something around that.

We don’t have a strict dress code as such, I would say, smart casuals, and most others there would say, just don’t show up naked.
