Backend Developer API Integration

Overview

We are looking for a backend developer to work with our software development team. Your primary responsibilities would be, integration with various third party api’s like payment gateways, market place api’s like amazon, shopify etc and  develop other backend functionality. You will have the opportunity  to work with  new technologies such as AWS and data stores.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to technical requirements and specifications
• Work along with the backend team to implement improvements and new solutions.
• Integrating data and workflows utilizing RESTful APIs.
• Integration with third-party api’s
• Integration testing
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Write unit tests
• Work closely with our backend and testing to optimize performance.
• Contribute to improving our deployment process
• Learn new technologies as required for solutions planned by the team

Qualifications:

• 1 – 3 years of experience developing and working with API’s or systems integrations
• Experience with backend development in any language or framework for web apps
• Good understanding of  with RESTful APIs
• Basic understanding of node.js is a plus
• Knowledge of backend services,AWS,Cloudwatch, docker etc is a plus
• Basic understanding of RDBMS systems like MySQL
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Strong analytical skills and problem solving approach
• Quick learner, eager to learn new technologies and self driven.
