Overview
We are seeking a Billing Services Trainer to prepare joiners to excel in their accounting roles to meet the client expectations of our growing company. The Trainer will be responsible for evaluating department onboarding and current practices and creating, implementing and delivering training to joiner classes of up to 10 and providing training to team members on an ongoing basis. This role reports to the Director – Billing Services.
Trainer Duties and Responsibilities
· With input from department management, create training strategies, initiatives, and materials and continually keeps training materials and processes updated
· Onboard joiners, including the establishment of connections to clients’ networks/systems and support resolution of technical difficulties faced by employees
· Instruct employee training and onboarding in a classroom setting and one to one basis; provide ongoing training to all team members
· Review employee performance and learning; assist management in identifying and developing high potential joiners
· Create and continually update training material and processes including knowledge base of industry processes, vendor site protocols and other reference materials
· Track and compile collected data
· Coordinate and monitor enrollment, schedules, costs, and equipment
· As a team player, must be willing to fill in for e-billing specialist role when required
· Provide guidance and answer questions related to billing policies and procedures in adherence with corporate mission and core values
Trainer Requirements and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in education, accounting, business, human resources or related field
· Two (2) years’ previous experience as a trainer, corporate training specialist, or related position
· Previous billing services or accounting experience, strongly preferred
· Strong project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple projects
· Great interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of staff and management
· Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
· Excellent leadership and team building ability offering encouragement, mentoring and leadership
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
· Displays enthusiasm, energy, and quality focus
· Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and instructional software.
· Appreciation for strong customer service
Working hours: 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM
