Overview
Min 10 years of experience in Front End Development and handling a team.
Responsible for execution of SDLC processes within the team to include sprint pre planning/planning, retros, demos, architecture and code reviews
Responsible for reviewing work estimation and making resource allocation decisions and participate in project planning
Oversee development of project technology strategy and design solutions proposed by staff.
Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, other team/tech Leads and back-end developers to improve functionality without compromising on usability and also ensure that we’re building a highly reusable codebase.
Task management within the team/project to meet deadlines.
Assist in setting and enforcing coding standards and frameworks, identifying emerging technologies and evaluating their applicability to projects.
Continuously strive to expand front-end capabilities to new platforms and technologies
Understanding UI/UX requirements from client/development teams and proactively finding solutions when working with the UI/UX team.
Assist HR in the hiring, onboarding, and training Front-End engineers.
Define performance objectives and direction for the team member growth and assist in performance evaluations. ? Manage team members, assigning them to projects tailored to their skill levels, longterm skill development, personalities, and work styles
Review work of team members and provide concrete, detailed, and frequent feedback.
Define the team’s professional development objectives.
Continually retrospect and drive innovation within the front-end development process to ensure our software engineers execute at the highest possible level
