Overview
We’re looking for a responsible Software Quality Engineer who’s committed to delivering high levels of quality and has a strong working knowledge of open source QA automation tools. You’ll be working with our Development team to develop test plans, run tests, do exploratory testing, and automate tests.
This role will be on a 6 Month Contract Basis (Subject to Extension).
Responsibilities:
Develop test plans, test resource requirements, and overall scheduling of testing activity
Work with developers to review specifications for performance, reliability, usability, and
security
Performance, security and load testing
Work with developers and ops to ensure quality deployments
Write Automated test scripts
Key Skills and Experience:
1-2 years experience in website and app testing
B.E with Testing qualification
Working knowledge of agile development methodologies
Experience in working with testing automation tools like open source tools Selenium
(Selenium IDE, Selenium RC, Selenium Web Driver), JUnit, and preparation of
automation testing framework
Solid experience in test-driven development, unit testing, functional testing, system
Integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, web service testing, and browser compatibility testing
Experience in performance testing
Experience in behavior driven development frameworks such as Cucumber a plus
Proficiency in written and spoken English
