A Reservation Executive manages hotel room bookings, maximizes revenue through effective sales strategies, and ensures high guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include handling phone/email inquiries, updating booking systems, managing inventory, and coordinating with other departments. Key duties of a Reservation Executive:

  • Booking Management: Processing reservations, modifications, and cancellations via various channels (phone, email, OTAs).
  • Revenue Optimization: Implementing sales techniques to maximize occupancy and room rates.
  • Customer Service: Promptly responding to inquiries, handling VIP requests, and resolving issues to ensure a smooth guest experience.
  • System Upkeep: Maintaining accurate, up-to-date database information.
  • Reporting: Preparing, analyzing, and forecasting occupancy reports, trends, and statistics.
  • Coordination: Working with front office and other departments to align operations.

Requirements typically include a Diploma/Degree in Hospitality or Tourism, 2+ years of relevant experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS)
