Job Profile
We’re looking for a Category Manager who lives and breathes photography — someone passionate about understanding what photographers really need, and shaping products and services that help them run and grow their businesses.
What You’ll Do
Customer-Driven Product & Service Strategy
• Get to know our photographer customers deeply — from wedding and maternity photographers to birthday and event photographers across India (including regional/language-specific segments)
• Identify what products (e.g. albums, prints, gifting) and services (e.g. delivery options, packaging, digital tools) truly matter to them
• Define the right mix of products, services, pricing, and promotions to win customers and drive repeat usage
• Regularly gather customer feedback to keep improving what we offer
Work With Product & Creative Teams
• Collaborate with our product development and creative teams to launch new offerings based on photographer needs
• Help shape templates, formats, and packaging that work well for real-world photography jobs
• Suggest features or improvements that can make our platform more valuable — including digital tools (galleries, client workflows, etc.)
Store Merchandising & Conversions
• Work with the store manager to ensure that our online store is merchandised in a way that converts — with compelling collections, bundles, promotions, and navigation
• Own the storefront experience for photographers — making it easy for them to find what they need, and inspiring them with what’s possible
Performance & Insights
• Track how your category is performing (sales, customer feedback, repeat usage)
• Use data + customer conversations to identify what’s working, and where we can improve
• Bring ideas for bundles, campaigns, or product experiments that will make the store more effective
What We’re Looking For
• 1–3 years of experience in any relevant field (e.g. marketing, photography, creative, e-commerce, or content) — category management experience is not mandatory
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for photography — either as a professional, hobbyist, or industry follower
• Good sense of what makes a strong customer experience, especially for creative professionals
• Curious, hands-on, and proactive — you care about the customer and want to improve the experience
• Willing to work in person in Goa, and regularly engage with photographers
Why Join Us?
• Be part of a fast-moving, creative team shaping the future of photography commerce
• Work directly with product designers, developers, and marketers
• Build something that makes photographers’ lives easier and more rewarding
• Live and work in Goa with a team that values collaboration, ownership, and creativity
