Job Title: Faculty Trainer
Job Location: Panjim
Salary: 30 to 40K
Job Timings: 9 am to 6 pm
Age Limit: upto 45 yrs old

Department:
– Faculty/Trainer – Food & Beverage Service
– Faculty/Trainer – Housekeeping Operations
– Faculty/Trainer -Food Production

Job Purpose:
The Faculty is responsible for teaching and guiding students in the area of specific department operations, both theoretical and practical. This role involves delivering course content, organizing practical sessions, and ensuring students gain the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the housekeeping industry.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field.
o Relevant certifications in said department or hospitality operations are preferred.

• Experience:
o Minimum of 3+ years of experience in the specific department or hospitality industry preferably 5 Star Hotel experience.
o Previous teaching or training experience in a related field is an advantage.

• Skills:
o Strong knowledge of department operations, procedures, and industry standards.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work with diverse groups of students and adapt teaching methods to their needs.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Teaching & Instruction:

2. Student Mentorship & Support:
o Offer academic guidance and career counselling to students.
o Provide constructive feedback and support to students during their practical sessions.
o Assess student performance through practical evaluations, assignments, and exams.

3. Curriculum Development:
o Develop course materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and handouts.
o Stay updated on the latest trends in housekeeping and incorporate them into the curriculum.

4. Administration:
o Maintain student records, attendance, and academic progress.
o Collaborate with department heads to ensure smooth functioning of the department and courses.

5. Industry Collaboration:
o Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals to enhance students’ learning experiences and facilitate internships and placements.
o Organize guest lectures, workshops, and field visits to enrich students’ practical knowledge.

6. Laboratory/Practical Session Management:
o Oversee the lab and ensure it is adequately stocked with necessary materials and equipment.
o Monitor practical sessions to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
