Overview

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Assistant Live Sound Technician to support the sound team in delivering high-quality audio experiences at our live events. The ideal candidate has experience with sound equipment, a passion for live music or events, and the ability to work well under pressure. This role involves setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio systems to ensure smooth event production.

Key Responsibilities

– Assist in setting up, testing, and operating audio equipment, including microphones, mixers, and soundboards.
– Work with the sound team to mix and monitor audio during live events.
– Troubleshoot audio issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
– Perform routine maintenance on audio equipment to ensure optimal performance.
– Assist in managing the setup and teardown of audio equipment at event venues.
– Ensure audio quality meets client and company standards.
– Collaborate with lighting and visual teams to create a cohesive event experience.

Requirements

– Previous experience in live sound preferred.
– Understanding of audio equipment and signal flow.
– Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
– Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
– Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and long hours when needed.
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements

– Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions.
