Overview
Kilowott is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Porvorim, Goa. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in managing and maintaining local servers and network infrastructure. This role requires excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn and grow in the IT field, and the ability to be resourceful in solving technical challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support local servers (Linux and Windows) for both hardware and software.
- Ensure server security, performance, and reliability.
- Set up and manage local network infrastructure, including LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, and cameras.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to ensure seamless connectivity.
- Provide technical support and assistance to team members as needed.
- Diagnose and fix hardware and software issues promptly.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in IT infrastructure.
- Propose and implement improvements to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in a relevant technical field.
- Proven experience with local servers (Linux and Windows) and network infrastructure.
- Experience in hardware and software maintenance.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Resourceful and proactive in identifying and solving problems.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the IT field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
