Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Junior DevOps/Linux System Associate to join our team. This role involves managing and maintaining our Linux-based systems, automating deployments, and managing continuous integration and delivery. The successful candidate should possess a deep understanding of Linux and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based systems.
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate deployments and processes.
- Monitor system performance and implement performance tuning techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage the continuous integration and delivery pipeline.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in DevOps and Linux system administration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Linux-based systems and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python, Ruby, Java, etc.).
- Knowledge of DevOps concepts and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.).
- Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good to have experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Mandatory experience with version control systems (Git, SVN).
- Understanding of security principles and best practices.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
