Participate in the Millennium Alliance Grant Challenge to receive giant earnings

The fifth round of the Millennium Alliance Grant challenge will be held on the 18th of February in Nalanda, EDC House, Panaji. The workshop is open to all Indian Innovations.

Founded in 2012 by the Technology Development Board (TDB), Government of India, the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the Millennium Alliance is a platform to identify, test and scale innovations which optimizes the Bottom of the Pyramid (BOP) level. The first round of the MA Innovation Awards was held in 2012 and is funded by USAID and The Technology Development Board along with their other partners:

  • UKAID
  • ICCo
  • Wish Foundation
  • ICICI Foundation
  • World Bank
  • Facebook
  • FICCI

The Alliance intended to provide innovators and entrepreneurs with a grant of 30 Lakh to 1 Crore along with a host of other services like incubation and accelerator services, seed funding, grants knowledge exchange, business support, technical assistance, facilitates to equity, debt and other capital. The object of the workshops is to connect directly with entrepreneurs directly or indirectly through business peers and associated well wishers. About 100 Social Enterprises from various categories have benefitted from the Alliance since it’s inception in different projects in India and in replication in developing countries.

Innovations in the following sectors will be discovered and awarded:

  • Health
  • Education
  • Water and Sanitation
  • Clean Energy/ Climate Change
  • Agriculture/ Food Security
  • Others
