Content Strategist / Creator

Overview

Job Brief: 

We are expanding our products and services, and to do so, we are launching our brand-new yoga e-platform. For this reason, we are looking for an in-house smart, creative and passionate Content Strategist/Creator to create courses’ manuals, new blog posts, e-books, teaching resources, study guides,marketing copy, among other written materials. Our goal is to become the most comprehensive and vast online Yoga platform of the market by offering yoga classes, courses, teacher training courses (TTC) and any other service/product related to yoga and overall well being.

The ideal candidates are expected to have a clear passion for writing, strong communication skills (oral and written), proactiveness and an enthusiasm for the Yoga industry.

Content Strategist/Creator responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Creating well-structured manuals for new courses based on the syllabus provided,
Creating complementary materials for each course and TTC (charts, study guides, PPT presentations, PDFs, etc),
Conducting thorough research on Yoga industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, books and studies),
Generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles
Writing and/or editing content (E-books, yoga courses/programs/workshops’ manuals, blog articles, content banners, product descriptions, company bios, landing pages, etc.)
Creating descriptions and captions for social media posts/videos,
Write clear copy to promote our Yoga services
Creating attractive, engaging and relevant resources for our clients (yoga teachers and yoga practitioners).
Ensuring all-around consistency (format, style, fonts, images and tone)
Identify clients’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
Additionally identify topics and content ideas to make the most impact with our audience
Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
Supporting the Academic department in the creation of any written resource needed to deliver the company’s services/products effectively

Requirements:

Qualification: English Major Degree is desirable
Experience Level: Advanced
Passionate about writing, researching and learning
Excellent overall writing skills in a number of different styles/tones in English
Impeccable spelling and grammar
Great flexibility and ability to multitask in creative aspects
Amiable, smart & excellent communication skills
Experience doing research using multiple sources
Familiarity with web publications
Ability to meet deadlines
Accountable and able to work with little supervision
Be a go-getter, innovative and able to execute ideas
Fast and self-learner
Problem-solver
With flexibility to work extra hours if/when needed
With own transportation and housing
National Indians or foreigners with legal work permit ONLY

Position:

Full-time, in-house and contractual position
Schedule: Mon-Fri 9am-6pm
Long-term position
