Overview
Frontend Developer React.js
We’re looking for a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js to design, develop, deploy and maintain web apps and the Photojaanic website. You would work on the entire product lifecycle from concept stage until delivery and post launch support. You would also help maintain these apps to ensure they continue to function flawlessly across new app releases.
Responsibilities:
- Develop technical specifications and requirements
- Design and architect the application
- Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
- Developing the latest user-facing features using React.js
- Designing a modern highly responsive web-based user interface
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Integration with APIs in the web apps
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
- Manage app updates in an organized, agile manner
- Work closely with the UX Designer and Product Manager
Qualifications:
- B.E / Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent field
- 2 – 4 years of development experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Experience with popular React.js workflows
- Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS
- Experience developing, deploying and managing web apps
- Experience with performance tuning, security, and RESTful API’s
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Experience testing web apps
- Experience with code versioning, ex. Git
- Familiarity with continuous integration a plus
- A love of photography
