| *Startup Goa* is hiring a *Junior Web Developer in Goa*, with a minimum of one year of experience, programming and deploying scalable web applications.*The Junior Web Developer will*
* Work with a digital project manager and senior full-stack developer to build useful, intuitive web applications for Startup Goa and the Goan tech community, events and projects * Work independently on experimental projects, supporting third party teams *The role of Junior Web Developer requires* * Education: A Computer Science or equivalent degree * Programming language knowledge of PHP / HTML / CSS / Javascript / jQuery / MySQL / Bootstrap * Setup and customization experience with WordPress * At least one MVC framework from the following: Yii / Zend / CodeIgniter / Symfony / CakePHP * Experience with server side deployments of applications *Junior Web Developer – Nice to Haves* * API integration experience with Facebook / Twitter / LinkedIn * Working knowledge of Google Apps * A record of completed PHP web applications built from the ground up * A sense of design and UX best practices * An ability to collaborate within a diverse and dispersed global team of volunteers *Junior Web Developer – Awesome to Haves* * Obsess over trends and news about the tech industry * Understand what this command – :(){ :|: & };: * Believe in aliens, lightsabers and transporter beams If you fit the role of the Junior Web Developer that we are hiring in Goa, APPLY NOW.
