Software Tester

Overview

Your Technical Background:

• You should be able to review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• You should create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• You should estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• You should design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• You should identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• You should track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• You should Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• You should Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
• You want to work on a team that encourages you to use the latest and greatest Android practices

Good to have

• You should have Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• You have Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• You have Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
• You have Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• You’ve worked in an agency setting or feel comfortable interacting with clients
• You have Experience with performance and/or security testing
• You enjoy mentoring and teaching others
