About the Internship
Goa Waterproofing Service is looking for a motivated Civil Engineering / Construction Intern who wants practical, on-site experience in the waterproofing and building maintenance industry.
The intern will get exposure to real waterproofing projects across Goa, including roof waterproofing, terrace waterproofing, basement waterproofing, wall waterproofing, balcony waterproofing, bathroom waterproofing, water tank waterproofing, APP membrane waterproofing and water leakage repair.
This internship is suitable for students and freshers who want to understand how construction and waterproofing projects are assessed, planned, executed and inspected on actual residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with site inspections and waterproofing assessments.
Visit residential and commercial project sites across Goa.
Assist with identifying water leakage, seepage, dampness, cracks and moisture problems.
Observe and assist with surface preparation and waterproofing applications.
Learn about different waterproofing materials, coatings, sealants and membranes.
Assist site supervisors with project coordination and progress monitoring.
Maintain basic project photographs, measurements and site documentation.
Assist with checking workmanship and project completion.
Coordinate with technicians, customers and project supervisors.
Learn about roof, terrace, basement, wall, balcony and bathroom waterproofing.
Assist with preparation of basic project reports and work updates.
Skills & Qualifications
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering preferred.
Students pursuing Civil Engineering or related construction courses may apply.
Freshers are welcome.
Interest in construction, waterproofing, building maintenance and site work.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Willingness to travel to project sites across Goa.
Basic knowledge of smartphones, WhatsApp, photographs and documentation.
Ability to work outdoors and in construction-site environments.
Two-wheeler and valid driving licence would be an advantage.
