Overview
Job title: Software developer (Part time/Full time)
Location: Remote
Technical stack: Python (Django framework), React JS (material UI), PostgreSQL
The role:
- To understand business requirements and work directly with our founder/CEO to find the right technical solutions for these
- Collaborate with others responsible for marketing, business intelligence and operations to together come up with technical solutions to business requirements and customer problems
- Enhance our existing product with new features, conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security of our application
- Stay updated with the latest technologies, tools, and trends in software development, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes
Minimum requirements from the right candidate:
- Has 4-6 years of experience with building innovative solutions
- An understanding of both backend and frontend development
- Proficiency in Python, specifically the Django framework for backend development
- Strong knowledge of frontend technologies, specifically React.js and Material UI
Additional requirements:
- Experience using AWS for DevOps tasks is highly desirable
- Experience working in a startup environment would be bonus
