Overview

Responsibilities of the role:

  • To work and contribute to our core product with the long term in mind
  • Participating in understanding the features to be developed with the product team. Empathize with the business user
  • Define the architecture of how the features will be implemented, including database structure, code structure and server architecture
  • Develop features without tech debt and push to production post testing
  • Optimize the features over time for max performance and usability
  • You will also participate in DevOps activities to make sure that the infra is able to take the production load
  • 60% of our work involves working with API’s of ecommerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart etc. In some cases, we also have to scrape. Experience with these APIs or other APIs will be a plus
  • 20% backend development and 20% front end.
  • Technologies used: PHP, CakePHP, Python, Angular JS, Mysql, Redis, ElasticSearch

You need to have

  • 2-4 years of work experience
  • Experience on working extensively with APIs
  • Good command over PHP with some MVC framework. Knowledge of more than 1 programming language is a plus
  • Experience in working on AngularJS/ReactJS/VueJS/NodeJS would be good to have
  • Strong database concepts.
