Overview
We’re a high-volume wedding album production studio. Every night, client files arrive from multiple photographers; every day, our team corrects them to a consistent house look and hands them to the print floor before the 4 PM press run. You’ll own that correction work: making 500–600 images a day look like they came from one camera, one style, one standard.
What you’ll do
- Color-correct and exposure-balance large daily batches of wedding photographs (JPG, RGB workflow, Adobe Photoshop)
- Harmonize images shot on different cameras and mixed lighting (Nikon/Sony/Canon; stage, tungsten, and mixed LED at haldi, mehndi, sangeet, and reception venues) into one consistent tone
- Apply our house guidelines for print compensation — brightness pre-adjustments for lamination (gloss/matte/velvet) and paper stock
- Build and use Photoshop Actions and batch tools to keep throughput high without losing consistency
Flag unrecoverable files (corrupted, severely damaged) for re-request from the client instead of forcing a fix - Check your work against physical test prints on our calibrated station
What we’re looking for
- Strong Adobe Photoshop skills (curves, levels, selective color, batch processing)
- Solid color theory — you can explain why an image is off, not just push sliders
- Speed with precision: you treat a 4 PM deadline as non-negotiable and a consistent album as the product
- Wedding/event editing experience preferred; strong freshers welcome
Attributes
- A calibrated eye for skin tones across Indian wedding contexts and lighting conditions
- Detail-oriented, calm under daily deadlines, comfortable with feedback
- Clear communication with the print and design teams
Engagement & compensation
- Monthly retainer: ?15,000–22,000 fresher / ?25,000–40,000 experienced, based on a practical test
- Rolling 3-month terms, renewed by mutual agreement; either side may end the engagement with 30 days’ notice
- As our automated correction pipeline comes online, the role shifts toward reviewing and quality-controlling machine-corrected output — an opportunity to grow with the studio’s tools
- On-site at Tivim Industrial Estate, Goa; hours aligned to the print cycle (morning start; day ends when the batch is print-ready)
To apply Send your portfolio (before/after examples preferred) plus a note on your daily volume capacity. Shortlisted candidates complete a paid practical test: correcting a sample wedding set to house style.
