About the Role
As a Backend Developer (Node.js), you will play a crucial role in building and scaling our backend services. This full-time position is based in Porvorim, Goa, and offers a hybrid work model, allowing you to balance remote work with in-office collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Build and scale backend services using Node.js.
Design and manage PostgreSQL databases.
Create APIs and backend workflows used in production.
Collaborate closely with frontend and product teams to ensure seamless integration.
Own backend components end-to-end, from development to deployment.
Handle basic DevOps responsibilities and production deployments.
Requirements
Minimum 1- 2 years of backend development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Node.js.
Good working knowledge of PostgreSQL and API development.
Practical DevOps experience, mainly on AWS.
Comfortable using AI tools like Codex, Cursor, or Claude.
Deep passion for technology and problem-solving.
Must be based in Goa and have your own laptop.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with LLMs, STT, TTS.
Experience with Fastify and vector databases.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is INR 400,000 – INR 500,000 per annum.
