Quark 2016: It’s Finally Here

The much anticipated international technology and management festival, Quark is finally here. Organized by BITS Pilani, and being hosted on the K.K. Birla Goa Campus, clear your schedules to be there on from the 5th to the 7th of February. Quarks just keeps getting bigger and better with every new edition that they have.

Having a reputation for having some of the greatest innovations in science and technology and hosting some very well reputed entrepreneurs, scientists and world leaders, Quark is no longer in the minor leagues. Random Hacks of Kindness is an event under the initiative panel dealing with issues prevalent in society. Quark is looking to connect communities  through provisions of technological solutions to deal with the problems the country currently faces. Random Hacks of Kindness has started an initiative with Microsoft, Google and many other institutions, hoping to provide technical solutions to disaster and crisis management with software’s developers and designers. This is now being help in various cities across the world.

This year, welcome to Quark’s Goan edition of the event, Random Hacks of Kindness, which is a hackathon where participants give realistic technical solutions to social crises. In this social hackathon, participants code to develop applications solving various community problems. They will be tested on the innovation, feasibility and potential of their solution.
