Overview
Require black box testers for the software testing of medical products.
Roles:
– Black box testing of software for medical devices.
– Executing semi-automated test scripts for testing the device using simulator jigs and providing human action on the device and automation framework when required.
– Understanding the test framework to write automation steps in the test scripts accurately to match correct device behaviour.
– Planning and coming up with ways to test the device behaviour and documenting it in test scripts.
– Checking the scripts for accuracy as per the correct behaviour mentioned in the requirements.
– Modifying incorrect scripts to match behaviour mentioned in the requirements.
– Understanding software requirements and testing if they are translated to device behaviour.
– Adhoc testing to find grey areas in the requirements and understanding to find defects in the software.
Requirements:
– Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a black box tester for device software.
– Experience in execution of test scripts for software testing.
– Experience in editing of test scripts for software testing.
– Experience in medical devices is prefered.
– Experience in adhoc testing is prefered.
– Person with an electronics background or understanding is a plus.
