Overview

WTFVC is seeking a full time Software Developer contractor for Pixsweet.

Are you hungry to show the world the coolest new food product that involves 3D printing technology? We’ve developed software and a proprietary production process to enable online customization of high volume 3D popsicles. Typical FMCG companies rely on business models that are based on existing production, packaging, distribution, merchants and margins. We’ve developed a totally new manufacturing process that allows us to be agile, creating custom edible products for B2C, and for B2B customers in quantities as low as 50-100 pieces.

Responsibilities:

  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
  • Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
  • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
  • Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
  • Create and maintain software documentation
  • Be responsibile for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
  • Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent

Requirements:

  • 2+ years work experience
  • Proficiency in Web Technologies

  8. Microsoft SQL Server
  • Software:
  1. Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and above
  2. Microsoft SQL Management Studio for 2008
  • Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
  • A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management and best development practices
  • Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
  • Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process
  • Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets
  • Ability to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Entrepreneurial, optimistic and resourceful, with the ability to learn quickly about new technologies
