Overview

The job profile has twofold responsibilities

A)    Ensuring stable, efficient installations and developing new product ideas:

1.       Understanding the technical specifications and features of the products. Keeping abreast with the latest developments in the field by attending conferences, exhibitions, online research and reading research publication.

2.       Designing systems as per customer’s requirements and site constraints. Preparing illustrative drawings, single line diagrams etc.

3.       Using generally accepted engineering practices and international/national installation codes to develop execution plans/drawings.

4.       Developing detail bill of materials and cost estimates for material and labour expenses.

5.       Communicating the details of the execution plan to the sub-contractors.

6.       Supervising the sub-contractors during execution of the project.

7.       Communicating operation and maintenance details to the customer.

8.       Planning and executing annual maintenance contracts for installed systems.

9.       Identifying and on boarding sub-contracting teams from trades such as electricians, plumbers, fabricators etc.

10.   Technical selection and continuous appraisal of our vendors who supply various components that are used in installations..

11.   Working on a development and manufacturing plan to take new product prototypes to market.

12.   Carrying out technical site inspections along with business development teams.

 

B)    Identify avenues for product sales in existing and new markets.

1.      Understanding the technical specifications and features of the products. Keeping abreast with the latest developments in the field by attending conferences, exhibitions, online research and reading research publication.

2.      Grow the number of clients and increase company’s turnover and return to the shareholder.

3.      Maintain excellent customer service in the pre-selling and post-selling phases.

4.      Preparing proposal documents, tenders and other forms of communication necessary to engage with the customer.

5.      Facilitating activities of the Business Development and Marketing Team, Business Operations Team, Administrative staff and Channel Partners so as to ensure smooth delivery of product and service to the customer.

6.      Working closely with the Business Operations Team to ensure successful negotiation of contractual terms and handover to the Business Operations team for post contractual project administration.

7.      Client Relationship Management may occasionally be required post contract signature for more complex/sensitive opportunities ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.

8.      Growing the number of Channel Partners and ensuring continuing relationship with channel partners.

9.      Gain insights from customers regarding expected and desired product or service attributes and communicating those effectively to the Business Operations and Administrative Teams.

10.  Working on other channels of marketing such as online, exhibitions, conferences, networking sessions etc.

11.  Reporting status through on periodic basis in specified format
