Overview
Planet Earthlings is looking for a CTO and Co-Founder for our innovative hybrid platform: a Gamified Educational Virtual World and Social Network. We’re want a true tech genius from the Gaming industry with significant experience in Unity3D and C#. They must be a technical architect capable of creating a platform similar to a Virtual World and/or MMO. Needs to understand both front-end and back-end systems, social networking and content sharing. Open source knowledge would be a big plus.
The CTO is going to architect the project figuring out a way to integrate gaming and social networking into both a web based experience and a web-enabled app which will be empower a global audience of children. One of the biggest challenges is making it exciting for kids from developed countries who use high end graphics, video, and animation on a daily basis and yet accessible for youngsters connecting on low-end hardware and slower internet connections in the developing world.
Since we will start as a small team the CTO will initially program and build the project framework and later will continue with hands on coding of key components, while leading, advising, checking and perfecting code for other team members. Needless to say, this is a huge and ambitious project. There is significant room for professional growth.
We are currently a bootstrapping startup so we need to find a someone passionate about gaming and empowering children to change the world. You would be joining the other co-founder who is working an average of over 100 hours per week and completely dedicated to building a successful gaming venture in Goa. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with the desire and means to be an entrepreneur on a project with global potential.
