Android Technical Team Lead
We’re looking for an experienced Android developer to lead the design, development, deployment and maintenance of a new mobile app product. If you like the idea of being part of a new app product that helps people bring their best photos and moments into their lives, read on.
Your primary responsibilities would be to own the technical architecture of our product, improve our code, help us release high quality code fast, and help build the team. We’re looking for a lead to help our team move faster.
Responsibilities:
- Own the technical design and delivery of our Android app
- Develop technical specifications and requirements
- Design and architect the application
- Sprint planning and implementation
- Assign work and project manage a team of developers
- Participate in Test planning
- Manage app updates in an organized, agile manner
- Work closely with the UX Designer and Product Manager
- Set code standards and best practices
- Manage and coach a team of developers
Qualification:
- B.E / B. Tech in Computer Science or equivalent field
- Experience developing, deploying and managing apps in the Play store
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns and best practices
- Experience with offline storage,Realm database, performance tuning, security, and RESTful API’s
- Strong knowledge of Java, Android SDK, Rxjava and handling different Android devices
- Knowledge of Android imaging libraries (Glide, Picasso etc)
- Experience testing Android apps
- Experience with code versioning, ex. Git
- Experience with continuous integration
- Knowledge of Material Design
- 4+ years of development experience and a portfolio of shipped consumer-facing apps
- A love of photography
