MERN Stack Developer

Overview

We are looking for a MERN Full Stack Developer who is dedicated to the craft, writes code that they are proud of and can hit the ground running.

Your Technical Background:

• You’re constantly honing your craft of MERN Full stack development
• You welcome open source technologies — e.g. React, MySQL/MongoDB, Node and Express Framework
• You are adept at developing responsive Web Applications using MERN technologies that work across the Browsers
• Ability to translate Wireframes and Designs into functional web apps using HTML5, AngularJS, React , Node.js, and Mongo/Mysql.
• Binding of UI elements to JavaScript object models.
• Architect scalable web architectures.
• You have experience in developing APIs using MERN technologies using JSON payload data.
• Creating RESTful services with Node.js
• You have deployed your applications on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, IBM Cloud, etc.
• You have knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases
• You have the ability to integrate a variety of data sources and databases into a single system
• Fluent knowledge of latest HTML/CSS standards and best practices
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and AngularJS
• Working knowledge of Node.js and Express
• Solid Understanding of HTTP protocol and how server-side code is processed on the client
• Working knowledge of front end optimization and performance techniques
• Experience building Responsive websites for web, tablet and mobile devices
• Eye for details is crucial
• Able to handle multiple projects and competing deadlines
• Good understanding of overall web design including basic usability, accessibility, industry standards, architecture, and navigation
• Work in a cross-functional team to deliver a complete user experience
• Create Unit and Integration tests to ensure the quality of code
• Be responsive to change requests and feature requests
• Write code that is cross-platform and cross-device compatible

Experience

• 2-3 years minimum in creating complex HTML based solutions
• Detail oriented experience as a Web Developer creating React/Angular based solutions
• 1-2 years with React/Angular,Node.js and Express
• Ability to work both independently and in collaborative teams to communicate design and build ideas effectively
• Experience using asynchronous RESTful services (JSON)

Good to have

• You’ve excellent knowledge of the MERN Full Stack or web server exploits along with their solutions.
• You have experience developing cross-platform mobile applications, with React-Native, Ionic, etc.
• You have delivered hybrid mobile applications that work on both Android and IOS using these technologies
• You have submitted Apps to Google Playstore and iOS Appstore
• Experience working with Swift, Objective C, and Java a plus but not required.
• Understanding of native build tools like Xcode, Gradle etc.
• You’re using Node frameworks such as Express, Sales.js, Nest.js etc.
• You’ve worked in an agency setting or feel comfortable interacting with clients.
• Some experience with Photoshop or Sketch/figma is a plus (creating sprites, optimizing, cutting or adjusting images)
• You enjoy mentoring and teaching others.
• You have a GitHub account to share.
• Ability to wear many hats and learn new technologies quickly
• Portfolio of work Including examples of all areas of interaction design (user flows, wireframes, final graphical display)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
