Overview

HandyTrain is looking for an Instructional Designer to design and develop mobile-learning content in an effective and appealing manner.

Responsibilities

  1. Identifies information, knowledge and skills needed by the target audience & create learning experiences to meet those needs
  2. Design and develop sound instructional materials
  3. Plan, schedule and manage an e-learning project
  4. Perform quality assurance reviews of course-ware
  5. Systematically analyze, design, develop, and test / revise the instructional design solution
  6. Good verbal and written communication
  7. Keep up to date on learning tools, trends, and ideas

Qualification, Experience and Skills

  1. Graduate. Any professional certification in instructional design, educational technology would be desirable
  2. At least 3 years’ experience in instructional design, storyboarding for online Web and mobile training courses.
  3. Experience with eLearning technology platforms and learning management systems highly desirable.
  4. Excellent written, oral and visual communication skills
  5. Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
  6. Proficiency in Tools
    1. Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard
    2. MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  7. Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
  8. Must be able to work with multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  9. Should be Self-managing, focus on task completion
