In this role, you will:

Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services—from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement.
Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews.
Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health.
Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems.
We’re looking for:

Experience with maintaining, patching, securing and configuring Windows servers, linux servers and cloud servers
Experience with configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting Dialer and Voice networks
Experience with ITIL Processes such as Incident Management, Service Request Management, Asset Management, Configuration Management and Inventory Management
Experience with maintaining, patching, and upgrading a wide range of web and application servers such as tomcat, IIS, apache etc.
Experience with database, O/S and system backup and recovery procedures and protocols
Experience with Capacity Planning
Experience working in a Network Operations Center/Security Operations Centers/Services Helpdesk environment for small to mid-sized company
Experience with maintaining enterprise services and tools such as email, development tools, databases and knowledgebases
Experience with scripting languages such as Linux shells and PowerShell
Experience configuring ad-hoc networks on the cloud on AWS, Azure or any other cloud provider
Bonus points if you have:

Experience with managing equipment such a laptop, Macbooks, servers, racks, UPS, switches, routers, wireless devices and networks
Experience with configuring, maintaining, optimizing and troubleshooting networks, VPNs, routers and switches
Experience with Security Management including Anti-Virus, Identity and Access Management, PKI certificates and encryption
Experience with Identity Management Providers including Active Directory, Kerberos and LDAP
Supporting complex cloud applications in production
