Google’s Solve for India initiative comes to Goa

Solve for India is a Google initiative to nurture, support and mentor developers and entrepreneurs across the country. Startups would get a chance to be part of a conference and would later be involved in a panel discussion.

The program will take part on the sandy shores of Goa on the 19th of August 2017. If you are interested in being part of the event, please register for the conference at the link here

The event will take place at the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Panjim.

The panel discussion

The panel discussion will discuss and talk about the startup ecosystem in Goa. They will discuss the challenges and opportunities for entrepreneurs, and share a few of their learnings and insights. The main focus of this event is to reach out to, support, and mentor developers and entrepreneurs across the country.

You can check out Google’s page for more details on the event.

The purpose

Since the event has been organized across the country, SFI is looking to shortlist 20 to 30 startups from Tier 2 and 3 cities and have them qualify for a mentorship class. To qualify for the mentorship program, startups have to come forward with their MVPs and should be solving or working toward solving some issues in India, preferably in areas of education, water and sanitation, agriculture, health care, logistics and others.
