Topics Covered In The Dive Into User-Interface Workshop:
Introduction to: User-Interface (UI) Design, Graphic Design, Color Theory, Typography, Icon Design, User-Interaction Design, Aesthetics & Design-Trend Analysis.
The workshop aims to initiate a revolution in design in Goa. Much like it is in Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Pune.
Niyam Bhushan is one of India’s leading graphic-design professional with over 32 years of both national and international experience in his areas of specialization in graphic-design and digital creativity. He works in various areas of design including Software interface design, Web-design, Mobile-app design, Event design, Print design, Textile design, Video graphics, Sound design and more. As an approved vendor to Google, Niyam consulted Google on the design and technical specifications for Indian font design, and in the process solved various challenges that confront Indic font design and computing.
Having worked on user-interface projects for clients as diverse as European Union (EU), various United Nations agencies, social development agencies, a few Fortune 100 companies; Osho Nisarga, Niyam frequently advises the Government of India on guidelines and recommendations for user-interface design.
As a journalist and editor he has also been the Editor of PCWorld Magazine; Editor and CEO of Chip Magazine; Contributing Editor to Hindustan Times; Contributing Editor to Mint newspaper; Contributing Editor and Columnist to Linux For You;and the Contributing Editor to Computer Arts Special magazine.
